Tyson was born in Chalsie-Veneer. He doesn’t talk about it, but he calls Cat and the locals of Dire Lonato “healthies” which is what the Water Curses call them. He grew up hearing the term and is the only one in Fire Town to use it. 

It probably won’t even come through in the final text, but it’s fun to include if only for my sake and anyone reading this post in the future

I can’t even tell you how badly I should be asleep right now. But I’m editing and having way too much fun. 

Writing the first chapter is so strange. Introducing Cat and Peter… I’ve lived with these people for a decade, it’s against my nature to INTRODUCE them.
